This weekend

Astonished to discover that dragons were aquatic animals! Check out Job 41. Pop says that there could have been real dragons as parables of the great dragon, Satan. See also Revelation 12. Fascinating stuff that reminds me of much fantasy I have consumed.

Amused to hear that Ray and Selena's 3-year-old daughter Destiny wandered around our house asking, "Where's tuna?" Beth deciphered that she was referring to my cat, Shrimp.

Blessed to be the recipient of many free things this past week: 25 items of clothing, tickets to Spirit West Coast, lemons, and blackberries.

Pleased that Trader Joe's exists.

Finished four loads of laundry, changed two sets of sheets, vacuumed my apartment and room at home, handled way too many dishes, and made a pizza with basil.

Happy to be home for the weekend, spending time with the fam (minus Emily who is in Texas), Kate, Deanna, Aimee, and the Goldowitz family.

Realize that I need to love Jesus more.

Have been pretty exhausted and not spending enough time with God but am getting that back on track.

Was introduced to a new personality theory/test called the enneagram. Am a perfectionist with a strong helping wing (surprise, surprise!). Donovan is a questioner. Pop is an asserter. Beth is a helper. Emily is a peacemaker. Jeremy and Mom are undecided blends.

Has been listening to Ginny Owens quite a bit. Highly recommend her as promoting truth, thus filling listeners with good things.

Am looking for a job in international relief and development work, preferably in Ventura County.

Praises God that I am fearfully and wonderfully made and that He cares for me.

Thank you for being my friends!

Smiles,
Katie
